FAVOURITE SUNSCREENS AND BRONZERS
When it comes to taking care of my skin, I am not playing games. The fact that 90% of my year I get the sun, is not good. So I'm always wearing sunscreen wherever I go. The fact that I cannot get too much sun, also does not help. Yes, I have a Age Spots or Sunspots, we get them when we spend too much time exposed to the sun, without any protection. No, it's not cancer.
So because of that, I'm always looking for a way to avoid UV lights directly into my skin. Throughout the years, I've managed to try an extensive array of sun blocks and this are my favorites.
Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch Sunscreen: One of the few brands that offer 100+ level in sunscreen, and the fact that it's not sticky or feels too heavy on the skin. I prefer to use it for my face, and because we live in a tropical weather, you may need to reapply it a few times a day, if you sweat too much or get into a pool.
Heliocare Ultra Gel SPF 90: One of the best things with this sunscreen is that you can get it for you face only, and there is another formula for your body! The face formula is light and it blends so well with my foundation, the smell is not strong and is one of the most efficient ones that I've tried in my life.
Banana Boat Protector Solar Ultramist (SPORT) SPF 100: The only sun block that I like in mist, that does the job. When you swim in the ocean or a pool, you need to reapply every few hours or else you'll be burnt. This mist feels like and it is absorbed within a few minutes of it being applied. It is a light formula and good when you're constantly in the move or doing a lot of activities in the sun. I used this mostly for my body, I've never tried it for the face, given that is a mist.
Hawaiian Tropic Bronzing Oil SPF 15: When you want to get that bronze glow and golden skin, without spending all day in the sun, this is the best. I tried it a few times I wanted to get a little glow from the sun, and it felt nice, without drying my skin at all. The fact that is waterproof is also an advantage. You get that beautiful glow from being in the sun, without having your skin unprotected.
